Prayer

This Country is being invaded by ISIS. It’s all over the news and is getting very serious. If you’re afraid, pray, for there is power in prayer.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6

Some may say, “God already knows what this country needs” so, why should I need to pray for it? God needs to hear from you. Not only does he need to hear from you, but he needs to hear specifics from you. Be specific when you pray.

God is making a move among this country like never before. I can feel it in my spirit, and I feel Him at church stronger than ever before.

Don’t be afraid, trust in God. He is our Heavenly Father. He will provide and take care.

I know this can be frightening, but this is happening and we need to face it. if God is for us, who can be against us?

Stay Blessed and be aware. God is with us all. ๐Ÿ™‚

That Small Voice Inside Your Head

Are you ever trying to make a decision between what you want to do and what you know what is right to do? Then You always say, “Why didn’t I listen to my gut?” I can’t count how many times I have made a decision against my gut or that “small voice inside my head” And haven’t realized that “voice” was always right.

Me as a follower of Jesus, I think that voice is God. Want to know why? Okay, cool. So, When I “felt” that I needed to start listening to that voice, (which I think is God) I began to feel better and started to see progress rather than me going in circles wondering what to do. A lot of things we want are things of the flesh or just something that the world thinks is “cool” We need to start doing what we know is right and stop ignoring that voice. If a feeling keeps coming to you, and let’s say its to talk to a certain person about something, DO IT! That’s God talking to you. It may not be the result you think, but then you also never know what that other person is going through.

God wants us to succeed and in order for that to happen, we have to listen and OBEY.

God loves you all. Be Blessed

Family Matters

Why does family matter? They are who you grew up with. I know some people may not be fortunate enough to have had the privialage of growing up with certain family members. Whether they lost them or they just aren’t in the picture anymore.ย All I know, is to always love your family no matter what. Maybe you can’t stand to be around them, but still love and pray for that individual. You don’t know what they are going through. That certain person in your life that seems to be struggling, may just need to know someone cares. And there is no telling what could happen.

Family is everything. I was in a hurry to get out of my families house, but within just 4 short months of being away, I realized God had me where I was for a reason. Needless to say, I moved back and I needed my family more than I thought. God has something me and my family are supposed to do. We’ve grown closer than ever before and are looking to become a huge force for God. Two-heads are better than on.

Be blessed!

Focus

Last week, my church had camp-meeting. Featuring some great teachers and preachers. (Let me know if you’re interested in who they were) but it was an amazing experience. Unlike any other camp-meeting before.

Agreement in the church is a huge thing nowadays. The more agreement, the more faith towards a certain thing.

Churches need to become ONE. Come together like God wants. Stop the nonsense. Set your eyes on God and just let him do what he wants.

God is moving like never before. I can feel his power more than ever. He’s stirring His people up, and our eyes are about to witness miracles upon miracles.

It’s hard at times, to be so focused on God. Things come up and you can easily get distracted from God, and you can easily lose sight of yourself. Don’t let that keep you away from God, for he is always present and listens all the time.

I just felt I needed to get some things off of my chest. There’s more but this isn’t a journal lol. God is always there. ๐Ÿ™‚

BE YOU

Earrings on a guy?
Earrings on a guy?

Are Earrings, on a guy, a bad thing? Will people judge you by your earrings?

I don’t think it is, personally. Why can women but not guys wear them? Who knows. I know that you shouldn’t let people’s judgment get to you. Don’t let that define who you truly are. Everyone is created equal.

People, will see you and have assumptions, it’s just human nature. Now, I’m sure one could pray that off of someone but I’m just saying, it’s going to happen.

I will forget that I even have mine in over half the time. Simply because I am so comfortable with them, and honestly don’t care what people say. lol. I am who God made me no matter what my outside looks define me as.

The reason I bring this up is because my brother, who had dreadlocks, cut his off because he had guys hitting on him thinking he was a girl. Now, I can see that reasoning. That could get old.ย What I’m trying to say is, if you want something, go get it. People are always going to have some input, but if you are confident in what you want, or know you deserve, they won’t matter. Tats or whatever the case may be. I’ve seen preachers and worship leaders with tats and earrings. Am I judging? No, because those things aren’t the ones singing or preaching to me. I’m not saying to go get those huge gages you see the folks in Africa wearing, but I am saying that things are just things.

Stay blessed!

Interacting

Interacting means to; “Act in such a way as to have an effect on another.”

To me, I feel it is important, for people to interact and have conversations, with one another. Whether it be a pointless conversation, or a meaningful conversation. Either way, I believe it will effect one or the other, in a certain way. People these days, are always going through, and are facing something in their life. That ‘little’ conversation could rejuvenate them.ย I don’t know about you, but every time I decide to do something, out of the ordinary, and lets say help someone, with their groceries, or decide to say, ‘hi’ to someone that I see everyday, I feel extremely blessed.

In other situations, you may have prayed or hoped, for something to happen, and it never comes to pass because you’re always on your same routine. For me, when I decide to start random conversations, with random people, I find, that over half the time, they have something, or are doing something similar, to what I want or need. Now, that blessing you’re wanting might not come right away, but, if you continue, to put yourself out there, and be that someone that someone looks forward to talking to everyday, I guarantee you, God will begin to talk to that person and they will do something wonderful in your life. And that’s because we are meant to love and be a part in people’s lives. I believe everything happens for a reason, and God specifically places people in people’s lives. Then the rest is up to you. That person you ignore, or that person you feel as though, you should say, ‘hi’ to, but you don’t, very well could be holding the blessing you’re needing in your life.

This could be somewhat confusing, and I hope I explained it well enough. Just know that we are meant to be a big part, in one another’s lives. Who knows, maybe YOU’RE the blessing someone needs in THEIR life ๐Ÿ™‚ God loves his people. Remember, love your neighbor as yourself ๐Ÿ™‚

Stay blessed, be blessed, God loves you ๐Ÿ˜‰

People Need Hobbies

Hang 10 Wheelie
Hang 10 Wheelie

This is just one, of the many hobbies, that I enjoy- Ask me if I love Mountain Biking…YES, it’s the best! It gives you a great feel of freedom and it’s great exercise for your entire body.

Mountain biking involves; ups, downs, sideway ramps, jumps, the whole nine yards. Your heart needs to beat more than it’s normal rate to be a healthy heart. That’s one reason, why I chose this sport. Besides that, it’s just a huge adrenaline rush.

Why do people need hobbies? To keep them sane! It will get their mind away from their busy week of work, or other things that occupy their mind, in a stressful way. Also, I would recommend, at least one, heart-racing hobby. It keeps one from sitting at home and being on the web all day/night. If you feel that you can’t think of any hobbies, search the web. I’m sure there is something out there that will grasp your mind.

Here’s a few: Mountain biking- Rock Climbing- Ziplining- Bungy jumping- Rafting- Sky-Diving- Horseback Riding- Hiking- Skiing- Snowboarding- Caving. Now, some of these can be expensive, but these are only a handful of what else is out there.

P.S. You won’t know what you like until you try it ๐Ÿ™‚

Stay blessed and God loves you all!

Feel free to ask questions!

Never forget those who passed on 9/11

Never take anyone for granted, for tomorrow is not promised.
This made me think how truly blessed I am. Never take a day for granted, for tomorrow is not promised. I will continue to pray for those who have lost their loved ones, not only the fallen of 9/11, but for everyone who is hurting .

Do not boast about tomorrow,
for you do not know what a day may bring. Proverbs 27:1

God wants you to live in this moment, in this second, inย this day. He wants you to see what’s in front of you, and who is around you. Take in and appreciate what he has already blessed you with, rather than wanting more, or pondering on your future. God will direct you. Don’t have tunnel vision- see what God has placed around you.

This is certainly easier said than done, but it is only doable with the help of God. Everything happens for a reason. Even though those affected by 9/11 have experienced something so tragic, I am sure they have appreciated life more than they did before the horrific tragedy of 9/11.

God is the God of love. Stay blessed my friends ๐Ÿ™‚
